What Is The Procedure?

What sets the PDO thread lift apart are the instantaneous results and the low recovery time. When preparing for a PDO thread lift, you should avoid alcohol, ginko, omega 3 fatty acids like fish oil, Vitamin E, steam rooms, saunas, high-intensity workouts, ibuprofen, and aspirin for at least two days. This is to avoid increased bruising or bleeding from the procedure. Before treatment, you will also have a consultation with a Luxe Lounge Medspa specialist to discuss the areas you would like to focus on for treatment. Our specialists will customize the PDO thread lift to your aesthetic goals, skin texture, and unique skin type.

During the PDO treatment, our specialist will apply a topical numbing agent and local anesthetic to ensure you feel no discomfort. Once the numbing agent has taken effect, the PDO threads are inserted into your skin by either sharp-tipped or blunt tip needles. The threads are then anchored to different layers of your skin. The specialist removes the needle and pulls the thread to create the desired lift effect. Then the excess threads are cut off. Treatments take 15-30 minutes.

After your treatment, you may experience slight swelling and bruising, but it will subside within 48 hours. For the first week, you should avoid rubbing your face, visiting saunas, doing intensive exercise, and sleeping with your face directly on the pillow. The results of the anti-aging treatment will be immediately apparent, although it does take 2-4 months for the full effects to take place.
